Title: trunk seal weather striping

Hello everyone, just purchased a 1971 280SL 39,400 original miles.
I know that the trunk seal should have a date on it, is anyone familiar this type. Photo attached.

I don't know for sure but it looks to me like a replacement.

From the picture you posted I found the car you bought online.  When you go about replacing hoses etc do not throw anything away.  Small things like the hose clamps you have are no longer made and correct ones are near impossible to find.
