Changed my plans, so I have two M130 Engines for sale.
First engine: M130.980.12- complete not restored, but in working condition- 3.900 Euro
Second engine: M130.980.12- fully restored – 9.900 Euro.
Have also:
Automatic transmission (short for Pagoda and long for W108)
And Bosch Fuel Injection Pumps: R24Y restored and R24 not restored condition
Engines are located in Germany in the area of Berlin- but shipment can be organized.

For the benefit of others, could you expand a bit on what you mean by 'restored'? I.e. what sort of work has been done to the engine, and what not. For example, were pistons, valves, camshaft and crankshaft bearings replaced, were the starter and alternator rebuilt, new oil pump etc etc

I am the first day here as a member. So I do know the habits here and was expecting this question rather in a Private Massage. I am graduated in Business Administration and old Mercedes are my hobby, so I am rather this guy who has ideas and has to pay for it, so sorry if I miss some English words-specific for mechanic engineering, but I take the challenge and explain it. So following work or parts were done by a dedicated Mercedes engines specialist:
Engine disassembled, parts cleaned and measured,
Cylinder drilled and honed bushes installed,
New piston rings,
Crankshaft ground, polished and balanced,
New main and connecting rod bearings,
New chain tensioner,
With new thermostat and new water pump,
Cylinder head completely disassembled, cleaned, measured,
and checked for cracks (pressing bath) Cylinder head,
overhauled with new exhaust and intake valves
new valve guides
hardened valve seat rings for unleaded fuel
All seals new, all bearings new, spark plugs, oil filter, fuel.
The alternator and starter are of course also rebuild.
So this we understand in Germany as restored.
I will also not start at this moment a discussion about the bushes. If I used the correct English word. Few years ago I rebuild in my W111 Coupe the engine unfortunately in the old school way- so with new pistons etc. But if you can implement the bushes- In this case you can use the old pistons and in the future you change only the bushes and do not degrade the engine. Porsche is using this solution.

SEB, welcome to the forum.
Can you post the prices please for the other parts mentioned. (Transmission and Fuel Injection Pumps).

Hello Ralph
many thanks for the welcoming. I hope as fresh blood I can bring some new inputs, ideas or solutions to this forum.
Coming back to your question regarding the prices for the other parts:
The short automatic transmission is in working condition- 2.500 Euro,
The long automatic transmission is also working condition- 990,- Euro- Its already sold.
The Bosch fuel injection pump PES 6 KL 70 B 120 R24Y was just 2019 tested, rebuild and new adjusted- 1.990,- Euro,
The Bosch fuel injection pump PES 6 KL 70 B 120 R24, is working condition, but will be sold as base for restoration- 590,- Euro.- Its already sold.
Photos- by PM per request. I do not have counted, that there will be some interest also from the US side,
but if there will be the case, there is no problem to convert the Euro to USD by current exchange rate and ship it to US.

Hallo Sebastian:
Das im Englischen gebräuchliche Wort für Zylinderbuchse ist Cylinder Liner oder Sleeve. Obwohl jeder weiß hier von was Du redest!
-
Danke! Habe schon geahnt, dass da ein eigner Begriff sein kann. Baut man die Zylinderbuchsen auch in den Staaten ein?
-
I've not heard of anyone actually having sleeved a Pagoda engine yet, although it has been suggested as a possibility. Perhaps more difficult in the 280 engines due to very little materical between the cylinders? Anyways, good luck selling the parts.
Herzliche grusse,

Thanks SEB, one of our members from Italy has an injection pump problem. I have asked him to check your post.

Regarding the sleeving of an engine block I have heard about this when I made my W111 Coupe engine few years ago. This method need a lot of know-how and not everybody is able to do this.
I have a Mercedes engine specialist in area of Berlin, who has the necessary knowledge, tools and experience. So if somebody is interested please contact me.
This method makes sens not only to save money, but mainly in case, when you do not have the pistons you need on the market. So I am glad to have this contact.
Thank you also for all advises and suggestions.
