Here’s a few shots of my white Pagoda wining and dining in a restaurant in the city of Melbourne. I can’t believe this car. I won it at an auction and couldn’t afford it. We found the money eventually in dribs and drabs from family of course. To all our surprice It’s been pampered all it’s life well looked after by it’s two previous owners.
A UK 🇬🇧 car with all the manuals , books and 2 big folders of receipts of all the work done to it over the past 49 years.Somehow the car has been an exceptional driving car. I haven’t spent anything on it which is so surprising and still drives the best out of my whole fleet. It’s had many meet n greets, 2 photo shoots for clothing and jewellery labels.
Good story worth sharing I thought ...........

Jimmy,
That looks great, is it in one of your restaurants?

Garry how are you 😊
No ‘Mercedes Me ‘ in Melbourne contacted me through Dirk our MBCV President and asked if they could use one of my cars for their Showroom in the City Rialto Towers. Its a stunning building architecturally beautiful and have their own restaurant. Quite impressive and very contemporary.
They showcase cars every month so was nice to put one of the pagodas in.
How’s the trip I’m sure you’ll have a few great shots to post with Kate and your Pagoda Run
Look forward to seeing you when you get back

Hi Jimmy, you say your Pagoda lives a better life then you, important is that you catch up and share the good life with your Pagoda. Remember our cars are meant to be driven.
I purchased mine in 2013 and was lucky to get her from a Multi Millionaire he also pampered the car. It was a birthday present for his wife and she only drove her 4,000 miles in 20 + years. Garry can tell you all about my car, he now saw her several times.
I’m in LA right now, drove all the way in my DD from London Ontario Canada. On Thursday Oct 3 I will make my way to PagodaFest and properly meet Garry for a cool beer.
Enjoy your car and remember she loves to be driven, not watch people in a restaurant having a good time. The way I see it your beautiful Pagoda must be very sad sitting in that restaurant.
Cheers, Dieter

Dieter I understand where you are coming from. But it’s quite the contrary.
All my cars are drivers.
I drive my cars on a weekly basis and now organising other pagoda lovers and owners to join us on a 3hour drive through the mountains in Melbourne. I posted it only last week.
Yes your totally right they are meant to be driven not left at home and used sparingly being worried it might rain 🌧 or put too many kilometres on the speedo. Nothing beats the Adrenalin of driving long winding roads being able to use the kick down gear changes to feel the magic of the Pagoda soul.
The shots you saw are in a Mercedes Building in Melbourne that hosts all Mercedes events showcasing great cars of the past and present. So quite a prestigious place for Mercedes and cars.
This is what I was referring to as I myself haven’t been there yet .
Nice to hear from you. My mission is to do what Gary and yourself are doing currently as I think it would be a lifetime experience for both car and owner.
By the way I’m a firm believer that cars have their own little way of finding owners that love and respect them giving them a life better than the previous one.
Thanks for layout reply
