Title: Been searching for a good looking and functional steering wheel cover
Post by: russelljones48 on September 05, 2019, 15:40:34
The "best" I've found seem to be the "Wheelskins".   Other options and experiences would be appreciated.  I prefer the stitched look and leather..

Russel, IMHO the Wheelskins is the way to go.  I love mine. I previously had some sort of stitched leather cover that didn't look quite right with the smooth unstitched appearance of the dash. I did see a cover once that was custom made that used the same perforated leather as the seats. Looked pretty sharp.

How long has this cover been on?  Does it have good grip? Did you do the actual work installation?  If so, any pointers?
Personally I think it looks absolutely beautiful and I’m certain it’s more comfortable than the bare wheel.

+1 Not difficult to install yourself and it feels good on the hands.  They provide instructions.  Just keep the stitching tight.

The cover has been on about 4 years. Photo is current. Yes a big improvement on the feel of the wheel. As mentioned above, not to difficult to install. Just a little time and patience.
