A friend was visiting the detailer who is doing my engine bay, I'm told there are parts all over the place. I don't think I can bear to see it. Now we worked on a budget to do the work, I wonder if that included putting it back together?

Peter:
Have some confidence...you can always buy new parts and we'll help you put it together.
For your entertainment, here's a true Can't-Put-It-Back-Together story:
When I was very young (a few years ago) I had a Mickey Mouse watch (original from about the 1940's). The watch stopped...being a bit curious (and stupid), I took the watch apart...pieces came flying out all over the place. I carefully put everything into an envelope and asked my 14 year old cousin to "fix it". He looked at me like I was crazy.
I threw the watch away. DUMB!
Moral of the story for Peter: You can always throw the car away. (Just kidding.)
Hope this makes you feel better.

Richard-
I thank you for your "support", I know we'll be seeing each other this spring/summer at local events and you can witness first hand the transformation and hopefully it will meet with approval from your critical eye! (Now fortunately your are a lot more lenient than Doug Kim. He expects far too much from us plebian "enthusiasts")

Peter,
I hope your car will be ready in time to join the East Coast caravan to the Tech Session in July! It would be great to see this wonderful amount of work.

Peter,
We only apply the highest medical standards of scrutiny here. :-)
I look forward to seeing your progress this spring.
