Hi Hans,
What do you think? Looks like oil?
Thanks!
Bob

I have that very same dribble [:(!]. Can someone tell us what causes it please?

Hello,
Yes looks like oil leaking between the warm up device and the pump body. The centrifical governor in the injection pump is probably throwing some oil upward. Try coating the two parting surfaces and the shim with some very thin sealer. Maybe just a thin coat of silicone sealant. Tighten everything down while the sealer is good and soft. Be careful not to allow any build up since the slightest change will change the injection mixture!

Hi Joe, thanks for the advice!
I spoke to Hans yesterday. He said the same thing... Remove the 2 screws, leaving all else connected. Apply a thin coat of permatex between the housing and the shims. This should cure the small leak.
Regards from Memphis!

While on the subject, is it possible that this leak can splat or spray oil as well? Every once in a while I get a very light splatter on the underside of the hood. Just wondering where it originates...

Warning! Let out some of the cooling water before you remowe the 2 screws. The thermostat inside the house will proberly fall out and water will come out!
