Hi,
Trying to find 6 original Veso 1K 90 degree ends for the distributor cap end of the plug wires.
-
I might have a bunch of these. Can check next week when we're in France if needed.
-
Cees,
That would be great!
-
Well, I have a bunch of Beru and Bosch ones, but none marked 'Veso' unfortunately. They look the same as the ones in your photo, some sort of hard rubber or soft plastic, black.
Upon closer inspection, the ones in the picture are also marked 'Beru'?
-
Yes. Also marked "Beru" I have quite a few of the Bosch ones that are NOS but still trying to find the "Correct" ones even though they will be under the distributor cover. Thank you for checking!
-
Are these what you are looking for?

Mrfatboy,
Unfortunately, no. The earlier ones are different.
-
Pat: My distributor has only three 90° plugs. The other three are straight...
-
Keep in mind that those 1K ends knock your voltage back by about 1,000 going to the spark plugs. Fine if you're using an AM radio but who does that anymore? For sure you don't want them on your coil wire if you're using a points and coil system. Hard starting, poor idle, and rich running can result.
-
Dan are you talking about the Baker lite ends or the 90 degree rubber fittings at the dizzy. I thought the only 1k load is at the Baker lite?
-
I'm talking about the 90 degree ends at the distributor or coil wire. Everyone one of those useless POS ends is at least 1K ohms. It's OK to have 1K on your spark plug but the rest of them do nothing more that choke the crap out of your ignition system.
-
Dan what do you run ascan alternative whilst still keeping it looking period.
-
I think the link to Beru parts that mrfatboy posted shows 0 Ohm wire caps.

There are wire sets available that are vintage correct. K&K has a set that fits that need.
-
Dan,
Transistor ignition. At this point this project has gone so far off the rails it is basically a show car. I am just trying to find the correct as built ends. I have NOS Beru spark plug ends, Beru wire and just need a few more ends.

I probably have a box full of them here. I never throw much away. Maybe we can see that some go back to you from the Clan's meeting in a couple weeks.
