Gentlemen,
I am on a quest to get an off the shelf, low cost tool, to get this grooved nut tool. There are some around on Amazon @$10 but I need the dimensions so I can compare and decide which one would do the job.
I am asking the community to post the dimensions (as I do not have a spare, it is still holding my leaky seal :):
- diameters (ID/OD) of the socket wrench
- width of the channels
In exchange I will do the research, check on fitment and post the tool web address. If not possible I will look to modify (machine) an ordinary socket wrench.
Or... if somebody already did the research, please post the tool.
Thanks,

In the meantime I got an answer that this may be the tool:

Can somebody check the dimensions?
"Pin Wrench Socket, 1/2" drive, for grooved nut on drive pinion shaft flange of differential on cars with old type swing axle. With size A=35.25mm, B=24mm, C=7.75mm."

Here a drawing and a picture of this essential tool.

Mbzse,
I see the pic of the tool but not a drawing or dimensions.
Can you attach the drawing or list the dimensions A, B, C as annotated in previous posting?

In my Posting you see the attached picture, and under it two text rows which are Links. The lower link opens a .pdf file, which has the drawing you seek. I attach it again below

Here is back to community...
I found a decent tool, at $10 to do the job. Look on Amazon for:
Motion Pro 08-0015 Oil Filter and Clutch Hub Spanner 24mm ID
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WJBLDE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WJBLDE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Probably any 24mm ID 4 prong spanner would do it
