Hi,
I'm looking for a pair of very good front fender side lenses/markers for an Italian delivered 280SL. They would be amber/orange and round. Please see picture.
Thanks.

Hi,
I would suppose that they are very rare. You should check if the old Fiat 500 side indicators fit, they are looking pretty the same: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Paar-Seitenblinker-Fiat-500-600-770-850-124-2-x-winkers/362616967257?hash=item546da7d059:g:qV0AAOSwnJpcraIA&redirect=mobile.

Cole, they are available from many of the suppliers of Italian car parts (Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia etc). Such as these https://classicalfa.com/lt027-side-indicator-repeators-carello-round-type/

I think I know someone that has a NOS pair. I will let him know that you are looking to buy and get back to you.
Edit.
No luck. Sorry.

i paid $5 online for something like MrFiat last year. Easy to find on Amazon.

Thanks a lot for your good feedback and recommendations, gentlemen!

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a company here in Los Angeles or at least the U.S. that sells these round side lenses?
Thanks.

Thanks Cees,
I currently have the amber rectangular side lenses on the upper part of the front fenders where the round ones should be. Please see pictures attached. It seems that it would be better to find the round markers with the cable already attached which would then connect to the existing wires inside the fenders. Also, I'm assuming some minor body and paint work will be needed because the holes for the round ones will probably be closer together than the rectangular ones, right?
I'm considering doing this only because the car originally went to Italy. But I'm weighing whether it's worth doing. If anybody has an opinion, I'd like to hear it.
Thanks.

I saw some that caught my eye about a week ago in my local auto electric repair shop that i thought looked almost identical to the italian round side markers. Maybe go have a look in an auto electrician shop for them.

Hey @Cole, did you end up doing this successfully?
I have a US-spec car that I am considering changing to Euro-lamps w/ these round side markers - purely for personal aesthetic preference... wondering if you came across any issues?
Thanks!
