I wanted to reach out to forum members and try to stir the pot with Coco Mats in Fort Mills SC in doing a limited run of Black and Green coco mat material for vintage car owners who would want a black with green mats.
Although rare I have seen handfuls of W113 and W111 cars on the market that had green interiors. I have also seen Porsche 356 and several vintage Ferrari's with green leather interiors.
I can come up with 3 different cars a Morgan, a 230SL and a 220seb making 3 sets.
I advised Coco Mats to offer a limited run of this material for a higher price, advertise it on their website as strictly limited and email blast it to their customer base and I think it would test the market and pay off for them to do so.
Is there anyone out there who will commit to the purchase of a set.
It does not matter what kind of car. But I would like to collaborate on the demand the black with green option.
Please let me know.
Cheers
Peter

I would do a set for both my BRG '37 M.G. TA and '67 MGB. Both cars are right hand drive so they would have to do the heel pad on the right mat instead of the left one. As I recall this has not been a problem for them in the past.

You're right Mike, it's not an issue for Cocomats as they make them from a template. So as long as they have - or you can prep - a template for the car, they can produce the mats
I templated the RHD Pagoda mats

They had a template for an MGB-GT cargo compartment mat, but had never actually produced one. So when I ordered a set of floor mats and a cargo compartment mat for both my '66 230SL and MGB-GT a decade or so ago, they first sent me their GT cargo complartment template to test fit in an actual car before agreeing to produce it for me. I modified the template just a tad adjacent to the wheel arches and hatchback lock and sent it back to them. The final product looks great back there.

The issue is not the template.
The issue is getting the owner of coco mat to produce or purchase the black and green material.
Their process is to send you paper templates they have on file to verify fitment to your car.
They also send you paper that you can make your own template.
You send back the template that works for your car and they then make the mats for you.
I want to stir the pot in hopes Coco Mat will make and effort to make these available for at least a limited run .
