Heads up; I’ll be in Australia for the whole of November. Primarily Brisbane based but might get about a bit!

Same with me Stick,Sydney, Melbourne, invites, although i am  close to brisbane, just over
an hour south to gold coast , keep in contact glad to help you in any way,and spend a day ,
down here on the coast, bring your swim suit,and we can talk  Pagodas. etc.    Wayne.

I hope your taking the time to cross the ditch and visit little old New Zealand as well Stick.  More than welcome to come stay and sample a bit of Kiwi hospitality.

Sounds good. I will be back in Melbourne mid October so will be there in November and will be happy to show you around etc. When it is closer to the time, let me know your timing so i make sure that i can arrange a gathering.


Jon, I know Oregon is like the back waters to you southerners, but i have found a place with internet.  Mind you my phone has not worked for days!!!!!!!

Currently on a driving tour of the South Island of New Zealand, (sorry Andy, won't make it to the North Island) and although I haven't seen any old Mercs of any description, it's clear that the Kiwis love their classic cars!

Nearly 14 years ago we arrived in Christchurch and rented a Mk2 Jag to bimble up to Blenheim
It broke down in the middle of nowhere (the main road north), which with wife and newborn aboard was not ideal. But we did get to spend an extra day in Christchurch which was a lovely city (pre-eathquakes) and I bought a jumper. Which I am wearing today!
