Title: Fuel pump identity.
Post by: Minerva on January 13, 2019, 22:13:44
Hi
Can anybody shed any light on this fuel pump, is it a modern replacement for what was originally fitted. I see some suppliers list a  replacement type pump is this what it is? I have included a picture of the quite non standard mounting bracket too!
Thanks
Keith.

Old pump from a bosch D-Jetronic system.  Made by Pierburg.  Part number 7.21287.53.0

I think the braket I made for a friend might be a touch safer.

Thanks folks for the replies, it's what was on the car, so if it's good enough we'll keep it on her. Yes I'll have to improve on the bracket design.
Thanks again
Keith
