Title: Cabin wiring loom routing
Post by: Minerva on January 03, 2019, 15:04:57
Hi all.
I'm just putting back together a 230sl and wondering what route the rear loom takes from the rear bulkhead forwards. It is clipped the the floorpan or is it left loose? Any pictures would be great.
Thanks
Keith.

It runs down under the A pillar on drivers side, and down the door sill up against the vertical seam. It is covered by the silver scuff door sill trim.

That's absolutely great! Thanks to both of you, the old loom had been burnt previously  so had no idea if it went there or through the seat crossmember.
Thanks again
Keith.

Dear Keith,
Ah, a left-hand-drive, right?
Thanks a lot, that's the piece of info I need.
Because I can help you with that ... but not with the routing of a RHD Pagoda.

Please see my next response

Thanks Achim, I'll put it in loosely and post a photo to see if you agree.
