Hi All,
I did a long drive yesterday ostensibly to burn off some fuel to replace with ethanol-free to store for the winter. Driving the car pretty hard at high speeds and with some decent twisting roads, I was reminded how much the car nose dives into corners, and when braking.
I have OEM Bilsteins on the front and Koni Classic adjustable shocks (set at 2 turns) on the rear. I want to replace the Bilsteins with Konis but am confused about the correct PN.
I wondered if anyone had used them and had the correct PN for the adjustable shocks?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes, it's the big problem if you drive a little faster. I change the spring with Mechatronic and it's much better.
But Mechatronik don't sell them anymore.
I think the original Bilstein for the pagoda are not the big problem.

Yes, I think that's the better way. 8)

I have Olson springs, they are not cheap but work well, no nose diving and I use standard shocks.

Sometimes the best answer about [insert manufacturer name] is by contacting [insert manufacturer name].
Thus in the case of Koni, in their current North American fitment guide for the W113:
http://www.koni-na.com/en-US/NorthAmerica/Products/Cars/List/?t=KoniPartSearch&q=1969&m=500&mk=26&mt=1
They only have one shock available: the Special D.
Part number for front: 80-1415
Part number for rear: 80-1416
It is a special order item, thus you may have to search for someone who might have to order it for you.

Thank you all for your replies. From what I've read here then, it seems as though I should be looking at springs. I've looked at the Olsen ones and they're bloody expensive. I'll look at the shocks further and will post back.
If anyone has a set of Olsens they're not using and would sell on I'd be interested. I think I'd only need the fronts.
Thanks.
