Hello Pagode Lovers,
The wiper wont work anymore. I think (I am sure) it is because the wiper switch wont work. I have been looking for the mode how to open the plastick wiper switch, but I didn't found. Can you help me ?

What about the wiper relay; are you sure it is working? Common source of malfunction
-
There is not coming any electricity from the black/yellow wire to the relay. But when I make a bridge from the black/purple wire to the black/yellow wire, the wipers works.

I am talking about a early W113, from 1963

May want to try "Search": https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=18352.msg128397#msg128397

I Checked all the wires and it is surely the switch that is stuck (shown in the photo). Can it be repaired ? Or must I buy a new blinker system ? I hope not the last possibility... ???

Look in there: https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=18780.msg131242#msg131242
Try search: "wiper switch" or "wiper switch repair" top right corner of the Forum page.

Try Alfred's method of removing the pin in order to disassemble, remove the "shell" or "cap" at the end of the stalk.
The halves of the black parts attached to the chrome shaft are permanently joined together.
If you feel adventurous, and you need to do so on your stalk, you can split them along the seam, to aid a repair. The housing (halves) must then be glued together afterwards.
Note that there is an early and a late version of the Pagoda wiper multifunction stalk. The change came about in the summer of 1967 (mid 250SL production)

Thank You Pawel66 for the link. It helped me a lot to find how to open the cap.
But it is the inside of the cap where the problem is. how is it possible that the cap not make contact from the left to the right piece ? Is only a cap for sale ?
Also thank you MBZSE for your input

As usual - a great supplier tip from you, Hans... Thanks!

Again, thank you mbzse and Pawell66 ! :)

but how the shift works ? There are no elements on the inside that move. How can it put the wiper on en off ?
-
So, the switch works again. Don't ask me how. I clean the inside with glaspaper en blew in it, and system works, on and off, slow and fast :)
I can't explain :-\
-
You just cleaned dirt that was blocking the current flow? ;) ;)
Congrats - good you made it!
