Title: Piston and piston rings. 250sl

I am restoring my 250sl RHD
Reconditioning the engine. Have come to a situation.
Ordered piston rings. It has standard pistons inscribed 81.98. I received Mahle rings of the right diameter by the height is of wrong size. The original are
1.5-2.5-5.0. mm
The once I received are 2.0-2.5-4.0 mm. I didn’t know that there different makes of pistons used on 250sl.
How can I tell what make pistons are in my car.
 Could anybody help me in this.
The piston also have a writing : 26 M 047.  Sending a photo of this mark.
I would be grateful if anyone could tell me where to source these rings.

Thanks for the reply. Managed to get the rings actually from a UK supplier. These are APEX made in Germany. Only difference is the Oil rings are made up of 3 components as against 2 component on the originals.
