Title: Safe at Home: Automotive Hall of Fame
Post by: mdsalemi on October 30, 2018, 19:37:28
Once again, my Pagoda is wintering in the luxurious heated confines of the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn Michigan. I just placed the car today under the watchful eyes of Paul Bracq and Bela Barenyi in the Styling Gallery...will be there until Easter or so. It's a win-win. I get heated space, they get more attractions.

If any of you find yourself in Dearborn and visit said hall, yes, that's my car.

I visited The Henry Ford (museum) for the first time, barely a year ago, and noticed the Automotive Hall of Fame across the parking lot. Next time, I'll check it out.

Great arrangement Michael!  I would love to find a similar air conditioned situation in Alabama for the summer months while I am away.

Jeez, Ralph--you are not satisfied with merely a garage? I would be, and was for many years. I'd drive my car and garage it for the winter, no issues. This is better however, not so much for the heat, but it's only 20 miles away instead of 155!!!

Michael - - Fortunately space is not a problem but, with the very high heat and humidity in Alabama from June through September, a garage with a touch of air conditioning is a plus for preservation.  I can run my home system while away but why not let others enjoy the car during this period in a climate controlled display space!  It would be win, win as you say!
