Title: Fuel pump runs when door opens

Hi I have not started my 280 sl for a while and today I put a new battery in and when I open my door the fuel pump starts running even when the key is off. Has anyone had this happen before and how do you fix it ???

Check your float in the brake reservoir.  You will find it has a pin hole in it and sunk. Do a search on site here and you will see quite a bit on it.
