Title: Protruding parts in storage space soft top.

Can anyone explain what these parts are in the storage space of the soft top?
It isn't used in my car.

That anchor holds one end of the big spring that goes to the soft top frame.  You should have one on each side.

In your pic the spring is missing.  There is a good chance that the little arm on soft top frame that holds the other end has broken off.

The springs aid in liftting the soft top. Besides the 2 large springs there should also be two small springs. One on each side. Those are attached to the little arms that may or may not have broken off.


Here is the template of the little arm if it has broken off.  I just had to reweld my left side.
