This cam number was also used on most 250 SE and 250S sedans (W108) of the era.

Longtime member Walt Klatt gave me a cam a few years back and I think it's the one you need, condition quite good as I recall. 

Contact "waltklatt" here (and surprise him ;D) to arrange price, shipping, etc., and I'll commence the exhumation and confirmation of the "68" code on the end, then get it back to Walt.  [Never was sure just what I'd do with it, but Walt's just generally a generous guy and I appreciate his having entrusted it to my care.  Sounds like you have a good home for it.]

If I find any problems with code or condition I'll let you know soonest.  Otherwise we'll proceed as above.

Found that cam and sorry, but wrong number.  Yes, seriously.  And yes, I am sorry and boy do I feel silly as well.

You could try  Kent cams......
