At the risk of further instigating the good Dr. (Benz)...
what is the correct finish for the alt pulley (see pic)?
Black paint? YCad?

( sigh ) probably zinc chromate when new - depends on the year of car I think. Could be black.

  Don't know if I'm good or not - don't really want to be. My stories are OK though........
