Title: what month was my car built

my vin tag is missing and want to  know the month and year the car was built
vin number 11304412021616 can anybody help with this

Looks like October 1970.

that's what i was thinking....
but what i found said maybe Oct/Nov
how did you come up with Oct

p.s. collection
 also have a 1955 190sl
and a g wagon

I think this chart may be the best source of info we have, unless experts will come up with anything else. These statistics provide cut-off for October number above your VIN. There might have been special cases that a car left factory longer time after it had been produced for some reason, but then there should be some indication for that in the records. Otherwise we are asuming this is it...

Is there anything that would make you question this date?

On 190SL and G - congratulations on motoring preferences!  ;)
My 190Sl is 56. Yours must be very, very early!

Looks pretty good to me. According to the chart, mine (22774) was produced in December. Delivery/first registration according to the original title and data card was December 16, 1970
