Title: Door Seal With Screw?

A simple question: is this screw supposed to be there?

There is a hole for it. I saw it on some cars, but cannot find it on parts drawings. I fitted it there for now, but if you say it is not supposed to be there, I will remove it. Seal holds without it.

Yes, certainly it is to be fitted there. Countersunk lens head, with a thin metal washer as well.
