Just re-assembling my fresh air scoop. I kept all the parts when i pulled it to pieces but can't remember the route that the plastic tube, for the windshield washer, takes from where it emerges from the body to where it clips onto the chrome spray jet part on the air scoop itself. Any way I run it seems to be squashed by the fresh air vent flap when it is opened.
Anyone got a photo of the correct route please?

I do not have the picture, but I was doing sealing of this tube a couple of weeks ago.
It goes from the pump through the rubber grommet (together with the hood release cable) under dash, then through 10mm hole in the firewall from under dash up to the area under the air vent flap through another 10mm hole far on the driver's side (LHD) in the bottom of the bay under the air vent flap, and to the nozzle.
For those 2 10mm holes (under dash and under air vent flap) you need two grommets/seals (A0009973181) otherwise you will have leaks under dash.

Don't forget the two or three metal tabs that bend to hold the tube in place(on the cowl cover).

I did this job recently too while replacing the cabin air filter. For me the trick was to connect the new hose to the old hose with some electrical tape and use the old tube as a fish tape to pull it through. Worked like a charm.

Hi thanks for that, i have belatedly found two clips right at the back of the cowl, but not the third.
