This maybe a completely stupid question but I'm working on a 230sl, which has a 230 M127 block and a 250 head fitted. What head gasket do I order a 230 or a 250 or is there any difference.
Thanks
Keith.

That head gasket wasn't available last time I looked so you should check before going any further.

First time I checked was last October and then again in March. Now it's July and still no stock?!!! I was fortunate in that I had a head gasket so I was able to finish the job I was working on which left last week for Calgary. Otherwise, it would still be sitting here.
I looked everywhere and couldn't find one to save my life. At some point I have to wonder who's sailing the ship.........or did it sink last year.

Yes, stocks seem to be gone! Just one or two NOS on Ebay for too much money!

Sorry to interfere, but just out of curiosity - these are no good?
