Title: fuel pump canister 230 sl

Looking for the three prong bracket that holds the canister into place on the frame. See attached photo.

I was looking for mine (late), did not find it, so I bought this:

which is what you are looking for (early), I suppose.

I had to modify it to fit the late protective cylinder (late 280SL). But for you it should work. It's just that it is far away...

I am sure aftermarket ones are around.

Hi have this bracket and the old (long) style fuel pump.
I replaced it with the new (short) pump not because the old one did not work properly, but because I did not like the noise.
The new one is much quieter.
I squirted some oil in the ports of the pump and closed them before storage.
I sell the parts.
