Post by: Rick on April 01, 2018, 13:21:20
This is the joke of the day on Ebay-   Made my morning. But it is a 1970 280SL for only $9,500!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/222900637364?_trksid=p11021.c100851.m5053&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20170803121420%26meid%3D5490715cb28e4cc4b7a2f8c5ed424abe%26pid%3D100851%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D162974495217%26itm%3D222900637364&ul_noapp=true

The seller also notes that this is a California car and it has no rust!

I sent him an email.
Scrap value is 4.25 cents per lb.
That's all its worth.

Yes the listing is good for a few chuckles but with a title and vin plate just makes titling a stolen car much easier.

Wow, you could make a Flintstone car with the plywood laying about.
Cut up the panels to make doors, trunk and hood.  Maybe a hardtop or so.
Use the pallet and make a soft top frame with some tarp material.
Remove the lump in the engine bay and cut some holes in the floor for the feet.
That would be unique!
Happy Easter and April fools.
