Title: Mercedes pagoda 1965 230sl parts wanted.

Hi unfortunately due to a fire I require most parts for the above car. The rolling shell with all body parts was at the spray shop and the engine at the mechanics.

If you guys have parts please let me know, if your based in the UK that was be advantageous.

I need a complete interior too, I have the dash and instruments.

Hi,
what parts are you looking for?  If you need a complete body shell I have that from an early 230SL. Car is freshly painted white with Glasurit.

I have a ton of 1965 230sl parts, including a nearly complete engine, a complete head, lots of trim and bits....  Your post is unclear - it appears that the body and shell were at one location, the engine at another, and I assume all interior/trim/etc at a third.....
Which location burned - which set of parts are you looking for?

I only have the engine, body complete with running gear and a few ancillary parts like the front grill and headlights, bumpers and some chrome. I need a full interior I still have a complete dash. My car is manual.

Also I am being offered after market side chromes etc via eBay. What’s everyone’s thoughts on theses.

We can help you out on a complete interior as well as many other parts as we have   recycled 141 Pagodas since 1992 and still have tons of parts in stock for them!

Hi Arv, had my 280sl nicked years ago in-between resto. At the time I'd bought a load of chrome bits which are still stored (under my bed!). Most of the bits are as new, as they were only placed on car to verify fit etc (I was having work done on rear deck as car was originally California coupe. Parts include pair pillar caps, deck lid chrome trims, chrome top door trims chrome retainer strip for deck lip? rear light/boot lid top chrome strips and much more. Some used parts (in ok condition) include 2 door handles and complete boot lock with key. Am based in Ireland so delivery no probs and very reasonable via DPD (used them to send me 2 leather seats for my alfa, about 30kg and only cost me £20 from UK to Irl. Also have hard-top in ok condition, but this is in Italy at my parents home (had been left there during a trip over. All of the chrome bits combined cost me well over £2600 at the time, don't know the value now, but I do know that some are no longer available. Happy to supply photos.

Surely it's going to be cheaper just to buy another car and sell the engine?
