I refinished these aluminum and pot metal parts today by first blasting them with cut glass beads then peening them with medium size glass beads. A coat of Nyalic and I will have my first finished parts of my restoration!

Very nice! I was wondering how to clean up the aluminum.
I've never used Nyalic. Is it the preferred method? Is it easy?
Thank you
Kevin

Nyalic is a spray on clear coat that comes in a rattle can. I am just starting to use it as it was recommended by a few members. It doesn't change the color or sheen from what I have seen so far and is much better protecterant from corrosion that a clear paint. It also is resistant to may harsh chemicals that can dull the finish of a paint product. Its sold online by going to their website.

Thank you. Unfortunately they can’t ship it to Honolulu. I’m hoping someone carries it locally.
