Title: Temperature gauge repair
Post by: dpreston Virginia on February 15, 2018, 14:26:38
The capillary tube to my Temperature gauge was damaged and the fluid / gas leaked out.
The damage is about three inches from the engine probe.
Looking at the technical info I see I must send the gauge and tube out for repairs.
I assume you have to unwrap the wire harness to get the the capillary tube out to send off is that correct?
Also where do you find the correct electrical wrap for the wire harness?
The technical manual shows how to remove the gauge so I am good for that bit of work.
Thanks for any help,
David

Leave the capillary tube in the housing\wrap.  Send the gauge and tube assembly all it out all together.
