Cleaning out the closet. I came across a box that contains fuel pump rebuild kits. I have three bags that say "Long Pump" and 2 bags that say "Short Pump". I know I bought this at some point in the past in order to rebuild pumps, but I'm not doing that anymore. And I'm confused. When I take the parts out of the bags the first Short Pump kit has fewer parts than the second Short Pump kit. Does anyone know if I have the right parts? Obviously I don't mean in terms of measuring, but in terms of extra screws, etc....?

I went ahead and photographed the other 4 bags - 3 say Long, 1 says "Complete?"

Here are more pics of the long kits
-
...and the "Complete?" bag, which looks like a short pump rebuild kit with one motor brush crushed and one copper ring bent and possibly otherwise incomplete....?
-
So what I'm really wondering is whether I have a bunch of complete kits with extra parts, or if some of the kits are missing parts....
thanks
Scott

Send a PM to BaronYoungman. He will know what you have, exactly.
-
Do you intend to sell any of the Long kits 1-3?
-
I stuck the lot of them on ebay as a 99 cent auction.

At one time I was putting these kits together for direct sale. I usually included several extra parts including fasteners and tab washers for the long pump. I long ago sold off all that I had to a vendor. If your kits for the long pumps contain the tab washers and they are new, they probably originated from me. AFAIK the kits being sold by vendors now do not contain the tab washer. I had those made by eMachine Shop several years ago for the kits.

Yes they contain the tab washer and I think I did buy them from you. Thanks
