Title: should i have a vin plate on the door of my 71

so many questions i should have made one  post .
should i have a vin or any other plate  on the door of my euro 71.
I have a plate on the firewall and one on the left fender

No, Euro cars do not have a VIN plate inside the door. It's on the firewall.

Hi Guys,

Apparently they switched the location of the two relevant plates for US cars:  the plain metal plate is bolted to the firewall or inside the engine bay; the black-and-silver plate with weights and passenger info is attached to the A post.
