Hello,

does anyone know what is the prescribed value of CO for 230SL? I tried to find it at technical manual there but unsuccessfully.

My car had 4.2 at idle speed speed at the last mandatory vehicle inspection. In Sweden the maximum permitted CO for cars from 1984 and earlier is 4.5. Hope this gives you a hint.

It depends on the load. At idle speed the the CO value should be 3.5% - 4.5%.

Hi,
experts recommend at idle speed a minimum CO value of:
- 230/250SL: ≥ 3.5%
- 280SL: ≥ 2.5%

Thank You to all. I just want to check injector setup for idle.

Interresting is that I got information from Mercedes Benz now that value for this car is 2,5 ±0,5 at idle 800rpm (± 50)

It's 4.0 to 4.5% for European cars.
