Title: 280SL Torsion Bar rubber bushing photo
Post by: CJHenderson on October 17, 2017, 23:47:37
Does anyone have a photo of the torsion bar for a 280SL? I'm not sure that the rubber bushings that I removed from my car is even the right one. I was on line searching for the replacement and found two completely different types.

I can tell you not to buy the Febi kit.  It is off by a mile.  I bought mine from eBay (Mr Fiat?) and they were really nice.  If I get a chance I will post pictures tomorrow.

That is what is on mine but when I looked at that one on line it showed only for a 230SL model but it didn't include my model nor the 250.

Febi bottom and Mr Fiat top.  Notice the flat washers as opposed to the dished ones as well as the much larger size of the correct ones.
