Post by: Taleb on September 11, 2017, 16:38:20
hello everyone ,

I just bought new pagoda completely white color but the hardtop was repainted , according to the data card it says the color cod : 050-white body / 131 - pastel grey hard-top , and the VIN 050 G 040 G 6 .
can anyone explain what is the original color of the car , the hard-top and the hub cap  as I'm planning to repaint it .

Hello Taleb,

Check out the colours in the Technical Manual here https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/PaintCodes

Pagodas with different colours for the body and hard top could be ordered from factor, as your data card tells. Note that the hub caps always were painted in the same colour as the hard top!

Taleb,

Go here in the Tech Manual and you can research the colour codes https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/PaintCodes (https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/PaintCodes)

.... according to the data card it says the color cod : 050-white body / 131 - pastel grey hard-top , and the VIN 050 G 040 G 6 . ...
I believe you are confusing the VIN plate and the paint plate when you are asking what you should follow. The VIN plate (https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/VIN) does NOT show any color codes!
1. You always follow the data card for your car. It shows what kind of color was used for the chssis (= UT) and the hardtop (=OT). In the example shown below both were painted in the same color: 423, as the footnote "7" explains. The rectangle to the right identifies the color code for the interior, as footnote "8" explains.
In your case that is most likely "131".
2. The paint plate (https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/BodyandPaintNumberPlate) in the engine room repeats what is shown on the data card. It appears that on your car the chassis was painted in color "050" and the hardtop in color "040". You should see the name numbers in the UT / OT field on your data card. The "G" means that the paint was provided by the Glasurit company. If the hardtop is painted in 040 G then the hubcaps are also 040G.

And to be specific, 040 is black. Hubcaps always matched the color of the hard top for the Pagoda.

So unclear as to why you would have 131 on the card and 040 on the data plate??

Taleb,

That's now exactly what I mentioned already a couple of days ago upon your other request here. ???

https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=26532.msg189992#msg189992

But you did not want to listen. :P
Now your datacard shows exactly proof that your interior code is 131 - and not a paint code!
Just read. It's exactly what I mentioned to you a week ago.
Your field "Ausstattung" mentions 131 and that is the interior code.

131 is black MB Tex.

See here:
https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/UpholsteryCodes

You should now make your datacard unreadable for the others again, at least the key numbers for your keys.

Taleb, you will learn than when Achim speaks (or writes), people listen  :-X.  That's a slogan for something or other I believe.

As Achim and Alfred have mentioned, white body (050), black hard top and hub caps (040) and black MBTex interior (131).  She is an automatic and was a US destined car.
