Title: Is the VJUR6BR49T distribuidor timing the same as a 046?

Hello,  my early 230sl has a VJUR6BR49T dizzy, do the timing specs for a 046 distributor apply for my car, I haven't find any info on my unit.  If they are different, could some one please tell me?

Yes, I believe the timing specs are the same.
The advance curves are different. See tech manual under distributors.
