Go to the Pagoda Notes (https://www.sl113.org/wiki/Restricted/PagodaNotes) page in the Technical Manual for your downloadable copy of Pagoda Notes.
Jonny B writes: This issue of Pagoda Notes gives the list of changes for the 1970/71 Pagoda. One item has stumped our panel of experts and we are wondering if anyone out there can shed some light on it.
“For VIN ending with 16820 Change date - 16-Mar-70 For cars delivered in the USA - emission control label at the front stiffener”
As best as we can determine the “front stiffener” is the bar across the front of the car located just behind the front bumper. We simply don’t understand why an emissions control label would be placed there. If you have an insights or comments, please let us know.
Kind regards,

My #18286 has it on the B pillar next to the VIN label.
My only guess is that on my early R107 it is in front of the radiator on the cross support.
Maybe they mixed up the models?
