Title: Ford Museum and Factory
Post by: Rolf-Dieter ✝︎ on June 08, 2017, 23:53:55
A few years ago my best Friend and Business Partner visited the Ford Museum and I took a bunch of photos with my then first edition iPhone. The quality of the photos is not the best still I like to share them with you here;

A few days ago I came across some factory photos and historical data of that era, again I like to share it with you in adding photos here in this tread. There are some 25 photos. I may have to reduce the size of the photos and I will post them in 4 photos in each post (so if you don't see them all come on back to see them later, I'm sure you will enjoy them as much as I did and the comments under each photograph).

If you never had the chance to visit the Henry Ford Museum I highly recommend it, you will not regret it. My friend Robert sand I are planning a return visit for there is so much automotive history to be seen.

Enjoy

Dieter

Thanks Rolf,

I love that place.  Its about so much more than cars which makes it fascinating for everyone. Its more about the industrial revolution and progressing through the mid 20th century. Greenfield village next door is wonderful for the wives to attend. We tried going at Christmas time as its suppose to be just beautiful but it was long sold out.

Thanks for the multiple posts Dieter.

A real beauty Tyler! :)  Have you gone to a later or modified flat head engine?

..... a 49 8BA Flathead.....
Thanks Tyler, nice engine.  The 8BA and the earlier 59A were the passion of my youth.  The availability of reasonably priced performance parts in the '50s and '60s made them the popular favorites for our backyard projects.
