Hi Guys --my question is about our 1971 with a rebuilt injector pump about 10 years ago with probably 10k miles on the pump. Lots of sitting. Since my last inquiry I had the most knowledgeable guy in our state tune the settings in the pump and the car runs great now at full operating temps.
The problem is the warm up routine with uneven run and some missing that clears out as the temp rises. I see no black smoke during warmup so I assume I'm too lean. The site presents a diagram of the WRD that shows a plunger that moves down into the injection pump body to trigger a richer mixture. Is the plunger movement adjustable??
Thanks for all--Chuck

Sounds like the slide valve could be stuck. Check for air entering when cold and if there isn't any, the slide valve is stuck closed. I use a bit of sealer under the thermostat to prevent any coolant from seeping into the housing and causing the slide valve to jam which is often why they do.

Chuck - if you run search you'll find tons of info on the WRD.
BTW Used to live in Tequesta many moons ago, in Turtle Creek. Nice community.
