Sehr gut! Bedanke mich! Es ist immer besser das Werk im Original zu lesen.
OK you Yanks: Time to learn another language! If you learn Greek you can read "Homer" in the original

Hello,
I know that the subject is very old but if anyone is interested I leave a link where you can find the PDF versions for a few $:

Mercedes Benz SL-Class R113 Series (https://crazyaboutmercedes.com/en/23-mercedes-benz-sl-class-r113-series-1963-1971)

Now they have a new bookmark index that facilitates navigation through the different themes.

Sorry for that but my experiences with crazyaboutmercedes.com is not very good because
- the star service cd's contain only a few pdfs
- the workshop manual 1968 is only half of the real book
The online flipbooks of https://mercedesclubs.de/anleitungen are much better, original, complete and for free.

And... it's copyrighted material and therefore illegal. It's also the reason we don't duplicate this info in the Technical Manual.

Good point but I bet our manual is easier to understand. Aside from the specs in the BBB, I find some it of wouldn't make sense to those who aren't familiar with how MB does things.

This was discussed elsewhere in the forum and the opinions varied, but I have the BBB and I still think it is borderline useless for the W113.
If you look for data, like torque values and other specs, it may be helpful but for actual repairs, it leaves a lot to be desired.
