While taking the dash apart I took my blower housing out. I attempted to free the fan blades so that I could re-new the motor. Ended up breaking the plastic squirrel cage fan blades. Still don't have it separated form the motor shaft. Anyone know a source for just the fan blades?
Thanks

Jeff,
any luck yet? If I remember right, the fan blades are secured to the shafts by small allen set screws. Kinda hard to see, but they should be there.
For replacement I'd try an MB wrecking yard to see if something matches up. If that doesn't work, then I'd call somebody who does a lot of Pagoda restoration work, they might have a blower they're willing to part out.

Thanks Naj and George!
I did find the set screws and tried to free them. They were3 sealed with a locktite type compound and I ended up drilling them out and breaking the blades. The set screws were located on the interior of the squirrel cage fan. Would have been much easier if the motor shaft were longer and the set screws located on the exterior side of the fan blades. Oh well!!

Found a mfg of correct size double inlet blower wheels but they only sell in very large qtys. Still looking for replacements.

If you just broke a blade, just brake off another opposite it. You will retain balance and will not notice the difference in volumn.
