Title: Houston Mechanic and Body Shop

I am restoring a 230SL that requires considerable mechanical work and body work and would very much appreciate a recommendation on a competent, honest mechanic and body shop in Houston or the surrounding area.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have restored three cars with Gus.  He is the best and knows more about Pagodas than anyone.  Highest recommendation.

I can highly recommend Gus.  I recently received my restored Pagoda from him.  Can't sing his praises enough both on the mechanical and body side.  He is meticulous.  You are very lucky to have him close to you.

Thank you very much.  Your car looks like a true barn find.  How long has it been sitting without running?  Has he given you an estimate of the cost?

You are looking at $70k if you need total restoration.
