Title: Need thrust washer
Post by: bongo666shaftsburry on February 09, 2017, 19:47:05
Hello,
Anyone have a spare 17mm valve spring thrust washer they would be willing to part with? I'm missing one of mine and haven't seen it in over a year so I think it's gone.
I have a set of 15mm ones as I'm replacing M129 with M130 but I'm afraid the thinner walls on the smaller thrust pieces won't be up to the job. Any opinions?
Thanks,
Art

Be sure to measure your existing thrust cap thickness as there are different repair sizes available. The factory thickness is 4.5mm measured between the contact points top and bottom. Repair sizes are 3.5 and 2.5mm used to compensate for valve seat grind during head/valve overhaul.
