My Pagoda came with MB tex and is "sunburned" on the rear seat (California coupe) and trim.other then being burnt it is in good shape but really like the German leather...sooo my question is..being that my car came with MB text, if I switch the interior out to leather do you all think that I am "hurting" the value of my car?. same thing if I add Ac. I have the original window sticker and BOS which is great for originality but????? Your thoughts please

first of al i find that jou must judge by jour own comfort , the main thing is jou need to have fun of this car and not let it rest in the garage , so if leather is more comfy and gives it a nicer look i would do it , the value whil not increase by adding leather , sometimes if the leather is a little bit worn it gives the car an even nicer look , thats why im purshassing a second hand interior , and not restauring it to new

As long as the item you want to change was originally offered as an option there should be no problem. I converted mine from MBtex to leather and I love the look and feel.

Most of the gullwing SL's came with cloth seats and it appears most are now leather. I wouldn't worry too much about hurting your car's value.
