Parts for these transmissions are very hard to come by.  There is really no way of testing it unless its connect to the rest of the car.  You're better off buying or finding a junker with this transmission so you can test it before buying.  If anything you could always use this one for parts.

Ah heck guys, at this price he ought to throw in a pair of NOS all red tail lamp assemblies!  ;)

I know where you can buy a whole 5 speed car for less than that!!!
