Title: 280 Gauges
Post by: chassis87 on November 21, 2016, 14:36:57

He there, I'm trying to find a one stop shop or company, to whom I can send my gauges too so they can be restored.

Anyone reputable out there you would recommend please?

Many Thanks

I second the recommendation for Palo Alto Speedo - they did a great job on my speedo, tach, center cluster, and clock.

I sent mine to Palo Alto for a full resto and could not believe the results. Yes, they were expensive but that sort of thing takes a lot of hand labor. You just have to decide at what level you want the gauges to be. You can also get them to quote a simple mechanical rebuild and is less expensive.

I just had a complete set done including the clock and it was about $1,500.00 USD at North Hollywood Speedometer.  No, it's not cheap nor was it quickly done. I'd say it took a couple of months before I saw them back. Most of these places are always very busy so this is the time of year to get them done while your car is in winter storage. At least for those who live in the northern hemisphere.
