Title: Trip Odometer Reset Knob

Does anyone know if the trip odometer reset knob (probably a black plastic) is available?

Is it the same as the black knob for instrument light dimming?

And last..... How is the knob installed?

Hi,
the knob is fixed on the backside of the speedo glas with a snap ring.

That's right, and you need to be very careful during assembly that you get everything positioned correctly or the glass will easily break.

And there is an early and a late version black plastic original and a chrome replica .

Thanks to all for the info; I'm on my search for the black plastic replacement.  The picture is very helpful, and I will respect the glass with lots of caution.
