Title: 230SL cylinder head numbers

Have been reading forum on cylinder head number chart. Does last 4 digits need to matched or it is running numbers? I have ask my mechanic to look at the numbers on my car and it reads 1270160005. Not sure how to match with the chart.  Please advise.

Are you sure it's a 230SL head?  It could be a 220SEb head if there are no holes for fuel injectors.

It come with my car. So is this possible 220 head?

Srisant, looks like that number in the photo is the inside of the valve cover?

I asked my mechanic to took the picture. Is it different numbers from cylinder head?
