Hi all,

Can anyone advise where to buy the fabric that goes on the seat backs?  Mine is badly stained.

??? Fabric on the seat backs? Mine is a cardboard panel with carpeting.

They are supposed to be beige.

As Jonny B typed, the panels are always covered with the same carpet material that is in the car, square weave for 230SL and velour multi-loop for 280SL.
Consult your data card to find the original color code.

Ah I now understand.  I can recover these when I get replacement carpet set.  Just need to remember to request some extra material. Makes sense now.

That carpet on the seat back is usually part of the set when you get it so no need to buy extra material.
