Title: Chrome trim on the hardtop roof

There are 2 chrome strips on the top of some hardtops but not others.  My hard top is missing them but I can see evidence that there have been some at some point.  Were all cars sold with these or were they a factor option?  If anyone has the low-down I'd be interested.  Mine is a 1964 230SL ...
I've added a picture to show the chrome trim I'm talking about that I found on the net.

It was an option only on all cars.  If your data card shows that it was included and they are not there someone during restoration has taken them off.  They are available from a number of the suppliers listed in out vendors lists.

Ahhh found it ... option 600.  May car didn't have this option.
